Size Guide
Since I am a one-person micro business, making all of the jewellery pieces myself, size availability for ready-to-purchase items is limited and mostly includes "standard" sizes. Although I do try my best to offer different sizes and items that are adjustable, there is a chance that you might not find your right size. In that case, I am more than happy to create an item fitting your measurements!
Please use the 'Custom Jewellery' form to put in a custom order when requesting size changes for bracelets and necklaces!
How do you find your right size for bracelets and necklaces?
A good measure for finding your right bracelet size is to make sure that the bracelet is about 1,5 to 2cm bigger than your wrist circumference. This ensures, that the bracelet fits nicely and that you are able to close the bracelet by yourself. Of course, depending on your taste, you can also order a larger size, if you want a looser fitting bracelet!
If you do not know your wrist size, simply take a soft measuring tape and wrap it closely around your wrist to determine your wrist circumference. If you do not own such a measuring tape, you can alternatively take any kind of string, wrap it around your wrist to match the size and then lay it flat next to a ruler or a stiff measuring device to determine the size.
For necklaces you should first check out what kind of necklace you want, how it is meant to be worn and if you want to deviate from that i.e. you found a long necklace in my shop that you like, but you would want a more snug fit for it. Please note that most chainmail patterns are still flexible, so changing the "stylistic" size of a necklace could alter its appearance slightly.
To figure out your desired necklace size you can also utilise a soft measuring tape or some string, by simply placing it around your neck to your chest area, then measuring or cutting the string at the point on your chest and neck area where you would want the lowest point of the necklace to be. For the string method repeat the step with the ruler as mentioned above.
